Presidents Message
The Boston Sparks Association looks back on another eventful year with mostly highlights and some lowlights. As we continue to move forward with more engaging technology the association continues to adapt and grow each year.
Although we lost an amazing friend, active and engaging member Jim Flaherty early in 2023, we look back on the strong foundation of which the association is based. His memory continues each year with all the laughs especially during the annual picnic on Farnsworth Street.
As we all look forward to the annual picnic coming up in just a few months, I would like to take a moment to recognize our members who are behind the scenes, providing critical support and care to our police and firefighters in their most challenging moments. Your dedication to ensuring the well-being of our first responders does not go unnoticed.
In the midst of chaos and crisis, you are the calm amidst the storm, offering comfort, nourishment, and support to those who put their lives on the line for others. Your compassion and selflessness shine brightly, guiding our heroes through the toughest of times.
Every cup of coffee poured, every meal served, every word of encouragement spoken is a testament to your unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of our firefighting family. Your role may be behind the scenes, but your impact is felt deeply by all.
Thank you for your tireless service, your boundless compassion, and your unwavering support. You are the backbone of our first responder community, and we are profoundly grateful for all that you do.
