A-10

Canteen / A-10

A10 responds to incidents in and around the greater Boston area. It is staffed by members of the Boston Sparks Association who donate their time to "serve those who serve". The equipment and supplies are totally funded by donations of goods and money. If you would like to help with your donation, please click HERE.

The Boston Sparks Association Inc. is grateful to the Cambridge Fire Department and Chief Gerald Reardon for the generous donation of a canteen vehicle. The vehicle is a 1992 Ford E350 Type I Ambulance formerly operated by Professional Ambulance followed by a career as the Cambridge Fire Department Dive Rescue Unit DR1 which ran out of fire headquarters.

The members of the canteen committee retrofitted the unit to serve as our canteen unit and it is equipped with VHF, UHF and 800 MHz radios, 4KW Portable Generator, Coffee Maker, Bottled Water, Soup, Gatorade, Snacks, First Aid Kit, Coolers and all the equipment required to offer operational support at an incident.

This latest addition to the fleet will allow us to better serve the METROFIRE Departments and all those requesting our services
